Three of our basketball players are leaving after this season, for bigger and better prospects. And without finishing their college degrees.
Let me list why this is a stupid move:
1. What if they get injured? Career goes down the drain, and then what? Oh yeah, they didn't bother getting a degree so they'll have to work at McDonald's or Burger King and make way less than millions. Way less than thousands.
2. Talk about being disloyal to the UNC team and the fans. Thanks for...not being there for us.
3. WHO WILL TAKE YOUR PLACE? STILMAN IS LEAVING TOO!!!
4. How are we going to win next year with some of our best players gone?
5. We need to rush Franklin. This might not happen.
6. It's just stupid.
I can't stand this kind of thing. It's just selfish and inconsiderate of everything else at stake: the team, the UNC fans, the prospects of basketball next year. I don't think our President's going to put his/her faith in UNC again. Good job, guys.

Indecision 2012
So far we have a bunch of crazy people running for President on the Republican side. Romney, Santorum, ect. You'd have thought that they could have found at least one sane person, but no. Instead they went for the most crazy people they could find, perhaps in the hopes that the media attention would draw away from the attention put on Obama.
That's not how it works. You don't become President by out-crazying the other candidates.
Here's how this whole thing could have been fixed, if America had been smart about who we elected. Back in 2008, we should have elected Hillary Clinton to office. She would have been stronger than Obama. She would have kicked America's ass and whipped us into shape. And why? Because she's a smart, strong woman who wouldn't bow down to Congress' every whim like Obama has.
If Hillary were our president, we'd have a much tighter grip on things like health care and the economy. There would be no laws against abortion or that violate women going on in places like Virginia. Hillary would be the strong person that she is and get America back on top. And I bet she wouldn't have had to stop funding NASA to do it.
The Democrats should just take the reigns of this election and Obama should step down, and let a real leader, and a woman, take office for a change.

How We're Wrong About Basketball
UNC has been overtaken these past few months by a force that consumes everyone who goes here. What is that force? Basketball. And today, after months and months of basketballing, UNC is done.
Well, I say screw basketball. I don't need people taking up the lounges with their on-duty but secretly off-duty RA's pretending to work but really screaming at the television while I'm trying to do homework. I don't need crazy fans tattooing 5's on their wrists, or wanting to transplant their own weak-ass wrists onto Kendall Marshall's. I don't need to hear about how everyone in class is depressed because we lost a game.
And this is just men's basketball. Why don't we pay attention to women's basketball? Why don't we get sad and upset when they lose, or rush Franklin when they win against Duke. The sexism inherent in the way we look at our school's basketball is horrible. The women's basketball team deserves as much recognition as the men's basketball team. If we're going to be ridiculously annoying about sports, let's at least be ridiculously annoying about all sports.
I won't even get started on how we're a women's soccer school.
